no, but can we talk more about THIS kiss.
let’s not even start on the fact that it was the Doctor who initiated it - and let’s be real here - this is the first time the Doctor has initiated a proper romantic kiss - nine kissed Rose but she wasn’t conscious and we still don’t know whether he did it just to get vortex out of her - he kissed martha but it was a genetic transfer, astrid was just atoms, and he was a robot when he kissed River at the wedding- and all the other times, - it was the other person that initiated it. This is the same Doctor who lost control of his arms when River, Amy and then Clara first kissed him - this is the same guy who stutters and get confused when Clara makes a suggestive joke.
I know most people might say it was a kiss goodbye - but to me it looked more like hello - cause it was right after he told her he could see her, and how much it hurt for him to talk to her. to me it looked like he was apologizing for not talking to her before, and ensuring her that he didn’t do it because he didn’t want to - on the contrary, he wanted to very much - he just couldn’t bear it - and this is why: he loves her.
he loves this woman so much that he married her, he loves her so much that when he lost her, and her parents, he went to sulk on a cloud. He loves her so much that just mentioning her full name hurts - so he started calling her Professor Song. He loves her so much that when he had the chance to say goodbye he couldn’t, because he couldn’t bear the thought of not seeing her again.
You can argue all you want - but you can’t look at that kiss, and tell me he was forced to do anything in that relationship - he always had a choice, and despite knowing how she died, he made the choice to love her.
I agree with all of this. I don’t think this is River’s final good bye, the time stream is all messed up and we don’t know in what order they ever meet. We already saw her die, what’s to say we don’t get to see more of her living? This kiss just destroyed me.
At the end of the 50th, I want there to be a little 50-second extra where Ten and Eleven are hanging out in the TARDIS, leaning on the console, maybe having some drinks.
And then their sonics start going off, or the TARDIS lights start flickering, and Eleven pulls one of the screens round and Ten…

I have always thought of him as the complete opposite of Deeks, which is why she wasn’t that fond of Deeks in the beginning.

I’m conflicted.
I want season five opener to kensi and callen racing to find sam and deeks-definitely action and fighting, but some emotional unraveling from kensi and callen (but mostly kensi cuz of the thing). Maybe she snaps at nell or hetty when they tell her to keep calm and she just goes “you wouldn’t be telling me that if it was your partner”Or when she finally gets to him and sees what horrible condition he’s in like barely breathing and shes trying to hold back tears and he opens his eyes and he just says “hey fern i was hoping you’d come by” and she just hugs him and we just get the this emotional scene from them both.
ORThe scene starts with deeks being tortured and he’s screaming and pleading and its just really hard to watch and finally the screen goes black and then the next scene is him in bed screaming, revealing that scene was his nightmare. Still worse, the audience will realize that whatever deeks dreamt probably happened
Anyway so he’s screaming from these haunting memories and the camera pans over to the other side of the bed, and we see that kensi is also there, waking up and realizing he’s having another nightmare and she’s trying to wake him up and support him (which if we put the circumstances aside would make a very angsty/flirtatious scene) and there’s a mix of romantic and partner/friend feelings there, since they’re still dealing with all that aftermath too.
EITHER WAY
It would definitely be an interesting and emotional experience watching the entire team deal with the psychological effects of this mess. I can almost see the writers making the fallout of the finale an underlying theme for character development, especially with deeks and kensi- to help (or block) their potential relationship.
I agree with either of these options. I don’t want Kensi to be out of character but I want to see her reaction to him being taken etc. I want the emotional fall out of the entire team from the torture and rescue but I don’t want it to hinder the movement in their relationship. If anything I want it to help their relationship.
